In high school, an elderly nun urged us to find god’s grace in literature. This seemed both silly and simplistic. It took years to realize what she wanted: for us to make note of the tiny, precious moments that made our whole selves hum.
That’s what this is: a (mostly) daily reflection of the tiny glimmering moments that make this life one worth living.
As a busy mother of two, teacher, and writer, this is my reminder to pause in gratitude.
